Automatic snapshots
Every change to your windows and tabs is saved within seconds, plus a full snapshot every 5 minutes. You never press “save”.
Crash recovery
If Chrome closes unexpectedly, Tabfort notices on the next start and offers to bring everything back.
Tab groups, exactly
Group names, colours, collapsed state, tab order and pinned tabs are restored as they were. Reopening a group never creates a duplicate.
Sleeping tabs
Restore hundreds of tabs without freezing your computer. Tabs load only when you open them.
Workspaces

Your tabs stay on your computer
Tabfort stores your sessions in your own browser. The addresses and titles of your tabs are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no Tabfort account. Chrome will warn that the extension can “read your browsing history” — that is the permission any tab manager needs to see your open tabs. Read the privacy policy.

Questions
Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. Saving, restoring, tab groups, trash, import and export are free with no limits on the number of tabs or sessions. The only thing the free plan limits is the number of workspaces (two).
What happens to my data if I stop paying or never pay?
Nothing. Your saved tabs are always visible, openable and exportable. A license only unlocks more workspaces; it never locks your data.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser's local storage on your computer. Tabfort has no servers holding your tabs. Uninstalling the extension removes that local data, so export first if you plan to uninstall.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome first. Edge and Brave are planned next.
How do I get my license after paying?
The license key is sent to the email you used at checkout. Paste it into Tabfort's settings. One license covers you personally on all your computers.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. Email [email protected]. See the refund policy.
What if Tabfort is ever discontinued?
Licenses are checked inside the extension, without a call to our server, and your data lives on your computer. The last version keeps working and your data stays exportable.
